It’s holiday season! And, this is the time of the year we gather and jubilate with family and friends. As a host, we are always looking for ideas to awe our guests and have them take away something from the party. In this blog post, I’ve shared a few Christmas tree food platters that are simple to make and bound to get a ton of attention during this time of the year.
A party is no fun when it lacks decor. And, the best kind of decor are the edible ones – there’s no clean-up! It will be all gone when the party is over. Cheese, fruits, veggies, cookies, pita, and pizza are typically some of the items we serve as appetizers and you can imagine how well it will be received when served like the ones below. But, I also think your guests will have a hard time breaking any of these trees down! Do you agree with me?
1.Cheesy 2. Cheese & Grapes 3. Cheese & Tomatoes
4. Olives, Celery & Carrots 5. Pea Pods 6. Green Beans
7. Apples 8. Watermelons
Vidya, those watermelon trees and the cookies are glorious! Thanks for sharing at Five Star Frou-Frou. Mimi xxx
Thank you for sharing at the Thursday Favorite Things blog hop
Those are cute. I usually try to do a meat and cheese tray for my son’s christmas party. I think I’ll try a tree shape this year.
Oh my goodness, the pizza is such a cute idea! I think my kids would love this for a fun treat. And the cheese and veggie platters I can totally see bringing to my work holiday potluck!
Aren’t these all so cute….and I know they are tasty.
Happy Pink. Sat
Yes, but what if the guests decide to not break the tree 😉
Morning Vidya,
Thanks for posting all these wonderful Christmas tree food displays. Love every one of them, they all look great!
and they all look fairly simple to do as well.
Will definitely be remembering these ideas as we have a Christmas party next weekend to go to………and I am
bringing something, not sure what yet, but maybe it will be something I can do looking like a tree.
Have a Merry Christmas,
Blessings, Nellie
Nellie, I’m so glad you like all these ideas! Have a great party.. and I hope your surprise your friends with one of these trees 🙂
