Cozy Corners

What would you do if you had a cozy corner in your home? Read, meditate, listen to music, or just nap? 🙂  I think I will rotate between the above.. at the end of a stressful day and also on a Sunday afternoon!I have a few examples for you from different styles. The key to creating such a nook is finding this space in your home.

  • A space that relaxes you, which is most likely a silent corner.
  • A space that is a private place in your own home.
  • A super comfy seating – a sofa or a rocking chair or a recliner. A foot rest to stretch your leg.
  • Easy access to a book shelve that is stacked with your favorite books.
  • Ample light that can be targeted on your book. Light that can be dimmed.
  • A side table for your cup of tea.
  • Surrounded in cool or neutral color walls and accessories.
  • View of greenery – house plants or view of your garden.
  • Place for a beautiful vase.
  • Subtle art work and maybe some motivational phrases.

What do you think? is this a good list to find your cozy corner?
