Engineered Hardwood Floors

When it comes to flooring, there are several options! It is not easy anymore to pick one over the other. Hardwoods and carpets are not the only ones out there. In this article, I’m happy to share a few gorgeous “Engineered Hardwood” flooring, which is one of the eco-friendly and sustainable options out in the market.

Engineered Hardwood is made of layers of wood, plywood and hardwood veneer. The veneer, is the topmost layer that makes the final product look the way it is. Veneer’s color is what you see on floor. All the layers are pressed and glued together, making it durable and stable. The planks are also moisture and heat resistant. This flooring can handle high traffic without squeaking. I believe, this type of flooring is also easy to install.

As a consumer, you have to watch out for inexpensive low quality engineered hardwoods. There are a few fake ones out there which will disappoint you in no time. Go with a well-known vendor and the results will be quite amazing like the ones I’ve featured here. Do leave me a comment with your favorite color, or your experiences with this type of flooring.

  1. Can you tell me what that last floor is. That’s what I’ve been looking for

  2. These engineered hard wood floors look great! They look like real wood floors!

  3. I think wood flooring looks so classy, I love the look! Also really easy to clean which makes it a definite winner for me!

  4. I love hardwood floors and I finally have them in my house. The only disappointment I have is that just the kitchen and dining room have the hardwoods. The rest is carpet. I think at some point I’m going to want to remove the carpet and have it all be hardwood.

  5. We love a good hardwood floor and have been planning on renovatiing our basement this year. Glad to stumbled by this post. Just pinned it!

  6. I love the looks of those flooring samples and those rooms are beautiful as well! I have to do something with my livingroom and this just might be a fantastic idea. I like the darker colors over the duller ones.
