Mind-Blowing Street Art From Around The World

You might have noticed wonderful illusions in the form of street art in unexpected places. Don’t you wish you bumped into these a lot more! I love art in all forms and especially when it comes to life. Isn’t it amazing to see how well-experienced artists give life to dull walls and concrete? I can’t imagine how they scale to such large sizes making it proportional all around. Using the world around as a canvas is something these artists have in common. Apart from all the imagination and creativity it takes to sketch in a large area I am sure there is a lot more involved in creating gigantic drawings.  Humans have been drawing on caves and stones forever and I’m thinking this is just a modern version. Do you agree with me?

I strongly feel such art should be recognized and encouraged. I believe some of the well-known street arts from around the world are now popular tourists destinations. I hope to travel more just to be able to spot these giant images come to life. Well, with all that said, scroll down to see what I have gathered for you here. The vibrant colors in each picture have changed the aura of these not so special spots. That’s what makes them mind-blowing. I hope you enjoy this collection as much as I enjoyed putting them together for you. I’m looking forward to your comments.

  1. Thank you for sharing at the Thursday Favorite Things blog hop

  2. Thank you, for such lovely comments! I read each and every one of them.. and so glad to see all the G+ likes and shares as well! I enjoyed curating these images 🙂

  3. I love street art. My husband is an artist and we’ll sit and watch a train go by just to talk about all the “graffiti” even though the most is really great art. Great article!

  4. I love seeing pictures of street art like this! Unfortunately, I haven’t come across it offline. Would love to see some of these up close and personal. The tree afro picture with the blue sky and electrical lines was awesome. As I was scrolling down I thought it might have been an ad because it looked like a photograph of a tree against a blue sky then as I kept scrolling and realized it was a mural my mind was blown. Just fantastic!

  5. Those are beautiful! There is so much talent on the streets, I wish the government had a program where these artists could paint empty spaces. Maybe if we let them express their art like the ones you posted, there would be less ugly graffitis around the city lol! Those are gorgeous!

  6. These are so cool, my favorite is the girl on the wall and also the stairs are pretty awesome!

  7. These are insane but so incredibly gorgeous! I dislike how people say this is vandalism.

  8. Wow… Truly awesome!! I love all of these but 2nd last is my favorite though!!

Oh wow! I have to say the art work in those photographs is absolutely AMAZING! I love how unique they are and how they just make you feel like they are “alive”. I always have been a fan of street art when it’s done tastefully like the photos you shared.

I am a fan of street art! These are all so amazing. I should stop going to Trick Eye Museums. There should be more art works like these around the world.

  13. What absolutely fascinating images. I’ve never seen artwork quite like this before. Truly inspirational, lovely post!

  14. These are amazing – so much talent! I love the one with the woman looking through the magnifying glass – very unique concept. There is one in Columbus Ohio my daughter and I love that’s on pavement but when you step on it, it looks like you’re walking a bridge across to the other side, very cool!

WOW, I keep hearing about them, but haven’t seen any in real life. I hope to see some in real life, they are pretty nice. Thank you for sharing some, these ones are clever too.
