I recently reviewed a mixing bowl set made by KUKPO, and Ozeri’s Green Earth frying pan. Scroll down, to read what I think about these two products for the kitchen.
Whether it is for mixing ingredients, sorting vegetables, marinating food, or for just storing leftovers – you’ll find mixing bowls come in very handy. The KUKPO set is made of good quality plastic and comes with advantages and disadvantages. The bowls are unbreakable, and light weight. The non-skid base keeps it in place. Unlike metal mixing bowls, these are quite when running whisks and handheld blenders. It is also freezer, microwave, and dishwasher safe. The covers can be pressed to keep it tight – but I’m not one-hundred-percent sure if it is leak-proof because there is no easy way to lock the covers. I also feel any plastic will eventually discolor if I start mixing colorful ingredients like chili powder or turmeric. For now, it shines brightly. Apart from putting this set to use in the kitchen, these will come in handy for lugging cold salads and other dishes to a potluck or a picnic. Overall, I feel this is a good set to have in the kitchen.
Every cook loves a good non-stick pan. And, many of us are nervous about using one. Traditional non-stick pots and pans come with a coating of PTFE (PolyTetraFluoroEthylene), and PFOA (PerFluoroOctanoic Acid) and have claimed to have dangerous side-effects. Ozeri’s Green Earth pan, in contrast, has a ceramic coating instead of PTFE and PFOA – which is safe, and eco-friendly. I tested Ozeri’s 10-inch frying pan thoroughly – I sauteed, fried, and boiled with as little as half the amount of oil usually used, and my dishes turned out yummy. And, it also cleaned off well. With any non-stick pan, only time will tell if they can last a long time and how they cope up with frequent use. Unlike stainless-steel, these need to be handled with care while cooking, washing and storing. With all that said, I like what Ozeri has to offer and look forward to using this quite heavily in my day to day cooking. I also love the splash of color this pan has added to my kitchen!
This looks like great set to have!! I need to get these!!
Those covered bowls would be wonderful for chilling dough before rolling, etc. What a great set!
I have the pan and I love it. The mixing bowls look great, too.
I love my Ozeri pans! I have actually replaced all of our pans with Ozeri and even have their wok, which I love! I need to check out the KUKPO bowls too. I’m in need of new ones!
Good to know that it doesn’t have toxic chemicals, that would definitely help
