Continuing my mini-series on rooms with a view.. and in this blog post, I’ve a collection of rooms looking at metropolitan cities. I was not one bit surprised to find these break-taking rooms with a city view on a high-rise building. I think this style of dwelling is perfect for someone who does not have “Acrophobia”, meaning – fear of heights! Well, I don’t have this fear. How about you?
Any decor style will work in these spaces as long as city view remains as the focal point. In the rooms I’ve featured below, the tall windows are let as is and are not covered with drapes or blinds. I’ve also noticed minimal furniture and decor inside giving importance to the view outside. The interior designers have created a bright, airy, and open feel in spite of being surrounded by other tall buildings by letting light come in from all directions. Finally, even though, these homes lack backyards and front yards, I feel they have a ton of other features to offer. For me, staying close to sunrise, sunset, and the looking at night lights will make it a very special place to be.
I really hope you like this mini-series. I plan to add a collection of stunning rooms with no view next. Please check what I’ve curated on the ocean and forest views as well. I’m looking forward to your comments!

Beautiful views. Great tips thanks for sharing
Those are absolutely gorgeous! I would happily live there and stare out the window continuously!
Those are stunning. I love everyone of them. If I had to pick one I would choose the one from HGTV.
Beautiful. It almost makes one want to live in the city. 🙂

Wow, beautiful rooms with stunning decor and fabulous views. It would be difficult to go to work.
These are indeed beautiful views………my daughter and hubby used to have an apt. that was over a town park, and it was just
3 stories up, but it was just so neat, and altho they wanted to move to a home, she really missed those views and so did we
when we came to visit………..she was able to sit on the floor in front of the glass windows and drink hot choc. and watch it snow. What fun! but only if you aren’t afraid of heights, as you said. lol
Hope you are doing well hon,
Blessings, Nellie
My sister is in downtown Boston and has a lovely city view. The only downfall is that it’s really noisy in the city.
Wow! What beautiful views, I specially love the last one at night – stunning!
i live in New York City – this looks like a LOT of the apartments that the city has 😀
