I have always wondered why salads taste better at restaurants! Well, the secret is just not in tossing the right ingredients with its dressing, but in maintaining it's crispness as well. I recently found that the key to a good salad is by hand washing the vegetables in cold water, cutting them up, and finally spinning them in a salad spinner before adding the dressing.
