I have always wondered why salads taste better at restaurants! Well, the secret is just not in tossing the right ingredients with its dressing, but in maintaining it’s crispness as well. I recently found that the key to a good salad is by hand washing the vegetables in cold water, cutting them up, and finally spinning them in a salad spinner before adding the dressing. The spinning step removes the excess water which results in crispier lettuce and greens. And, most of us tend to skip this and end up with a soggy salad! I’m so glad to add this product to my kitchen and look forward to using it in a regular basis.
Ozeri’s salad spinner comes in a good size, and will fit in enough salad for a family of four. It comes nicely packaged and with instructions on how to use the product. I’m hoping the handle will last a long time especially because it is made of plastic and that’s what I will be pressing to get the spinning going. The plastic bowl feels sturdy and is safe because it is BPA free. Everything in here is easy to clean and is dishwasher safe too. I wish the spinner spinned a bit faster and removed more water. Still, a good product that is going to help me make restaurant-style home made salads! Here’s a short video of this spinner in action –

I love salads so this would be great to have.
Awesome review I have been wanting one if these.
I have a few Ozeri pans and love them. The quality is amazing and they are really durable. I’m definitely going to check out their salad spinner!
I could sure use this today. I’m making a salad and am having to let everything drip dry lol.
I used to have a salad spinner but it turned more into a toy for me ha ha my husband still likes to use one but I just don’t hahah
This sounds a great product… I will definitely buy it!!
I’m now convinced to invest on a salad spinner!
I have one of these too. Yes, salad spinner helps keep the veggies fresh and crispy.
I got to have this right fit for my vegan diet, your review to this product is very much helpful.
Looks nice. Maybe I will try a salad spinner now.
This sounds awesome. I make myself a lot of blackened chicken salads for lunch so I like always having crisp lettuce available.
I’ve never had a spinner but now that I’ve read your post, I think I’ll have to try it.
I like the look of this salad spinner, I think lots of them don’t remove enough water.
I have this and use it all the time. We eat lots of salads in our house.
