Tea lovers: check out this product review! The “Smart Tea Infuser by Drinkkler” is helping me make my perfect cup of hot tea. I used to make my tea with teabags; now, I make my fresh cup of tea with this cute infuser that I can fill with loose leaf tea. There is a huge difference between using tea bags and tea infusers – the latter gives the tea more aroma and flavor. Teabag infusion is limited by the size of the bag and how much tea is packed in it. I sometimes wonder about the bleached paper material the bags are made of and if they can add chemicals and muddle the flavors. With loose leaves, you can get just the flavor you want and also moderate the number of leaves going into the infuser to suit the strength you like most.
With the easy-to-use, dishwasher-safe Drinkkler, all you have to do is pour loose tea into the stainless steel container, tighten the lid, and drop it in a cup of hot water. Just let it sit for a few minutes, and viola- your tea is ready! The holes are small enough to not let leaves through and the rubber handle doesn’t get hot. The tight lid is made of BPA free silicone, and it plays a dual role as a lid for your tea cup and a drip tray for your tea infuser. The handle has a tiny clip on the end so it stays attached to the cup and prevents it from falling into the cup. There are a lot of features built into this fancy tea infuser!

I’ve never tried one of these, what a neat idea! I wonder if youused a tea bag if you could use the infuser with fresh fruit to add fruit flavor to the tea?

I think the infuser would allow more flavor and scent to flow in the water. This would really make tastier tea.

I am definitely placing this on the must-buy list for us, my fiance drinks tea daily and I am so sick of buying the bagged tea. We have awesome tea shops near us and I would love for him to start getting the benefits of loose-leaf organic tea 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
