Summertime is typically the most favorite time of the year for children! And, with that, it can be the most difficult time for parents and caregivers who have the task of entertaining children. I remember being challenged to find activities during holidays when my two children were young. Without a doubt, painting and drawing became wonderful activities for my kids to dive into during those long, hot weeks. Art teaches children patience and dedication, and what better time for them to explore new mediums and talents than during long summer vacations? Since school pressures are gone and there isn’t any rush to get things done on time, children can relax with and enjoy the many types of art! Displaying your child’s artwork in a small room or corner is a great way to encourage him or her to continue to pursue art and improve.
Here are some stylish yet functional spaces to encourage your budding artist(s) at home!
