Several studies have proved that vacuum sealing prevents bacteria and mold growth inside the container. When sealed, there is no air or oxygen inside, which immediately stops the growth of organisms. The food stays as is until opened. Vacuum sealing also protects food in the freezer. You will not see any freezer burns and dehydration inside the container. The reason is without air; there is no moisture and which results in no ice on the food. That’s a lot of benefits to storing food in storage containers where air can be sucked out.
I recently reviewed SealIn Nestable Storage Vacuum Containers, and it has been preserving fruits, vegetables, pasta, and snacks fresh and crisp in my refrigerator and pantry. The set has four containers, and all of them fit in the big one. They are microwave, dishwasher, and freezer safe. The plastic is good quality and BPA free. This set comes with a vacuum pump, which is easy to use and store. I saved fresh berries in the smaller boxes and they stayed fresh for a week in my refrigerator. Overall, I don’t have anything to complain about this set. They also come with a one year warranty. I have a few pictures for you here. I am happy to recommend this set!
My sister uses these and loves them! They really keep thing fresh longer!
