Mother nature has a lot to offer us. Colorful birds, one of the most beautiful creatures to exist, have always served as inspiration for me. Whether it’s their color combinations or the way they interact with each other in nature, I’m always fascinated by them. Valentine’s day is approaching soon, and here’s a page to keep love in the air. I found this article rather interesting – Do birds live together for life?. In reality, there are both kinds – monogamous birds that remain together “until death”, and those that are less committed. Well, they still look cute as pairs! Don’t you like colorful birds in love?

Those are all such beautiful birds! Thank you for stopping in and have a great week!
Love your bird photos… so pretty. Birds are so fun to watch. We have some that we call “Tuxedo Birds” they are actual Black Phoebes, and they are a black and white bird–it looks like they are wearing little tuxedos. Any way, these tuxedo birds are hilarious to watch–quite the personalities! 🙂 Please come share your blog posts at the Home Matters Linky Party! We’ love to have you for a visit. The Door is OPEN. http://lifewithlorelai.com/2015/01/22/home-matters-linky-party-21/

Life With Lorelai
These are all beautiful photos. Love means many different things to different people. I love that I’ve found the one to be with forever.
Omg!!! My mom had love birds when I was itty bitty!!! They really are the cutest things!
Aaahhhhh, love birds! I have never seen the birds with black and red coloring. They are absolutely beautiful.
Oh wow, some of these birdie pics are very striking. I can’t keep my eyes off of the black and red pair – I would love to see one of them in nature. I’ve always loved the bold black and yellow markings of the chickadees (I think that is what they are called). Swan pairs are always fascinating to watch. We had a couple called ‘Adam and Eve’ that lived on the pond where I went to undergraduate school.
So pretty! We have a friend who knows all the bird sounds and just love pictures of birds! I’ll have to share these, how neat! Thanks for sharing at OMHG WW this week!
Beautiful images. My favourites are the robins, I only ever see them single though.
My Nana had a pair of birds I just loved when I was growing up. They seemed to really love and depend on one another. What a great post!
It’s so nice to see birds from the other side of the world as well as the love birds and gallahs that we get locally :o)
We had a bird as a pet when I was a kid and I remember trying to take photos of it and I could never get a picture with the full bird in the photo even when it was in its cage, I can only imagine how hard those shots were to get.
These pictures are absolutely adorable! I love seeing how animals have relationships and these birds are beautiful!
These pictures are so precious. Love all of them! This is the perfect time for showing off birds that are in love 🙂
Awe, so cute! I saw a really pretty cardinal this morning in the snow:)
I love colorful, till death do us part, birds and I though I was the only one!
These pictures are gorgeous! Birds are absolutely lovely creatures! I love watching them interact with each-other!
This. These are just the kind of adorable pictures that brighten my morning 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
I love colorful birds as well. Great photos you chose. Ive never seen those green ones with the mohawk thing going on haha. I don’t care for the winter but one of my favorite things is spotting a red cardinal against the white snow. So pretty.
These are so wonderful shots of birds. I am actually impressed by those who have taken them – since I bet it wasn’t so easy to do it. I love those swans – they are my favorite.
I have an irrational fear of birds, but even I have to admit that those are all really pretty. I love all the colors.
Birds are such BEAUTIFUL creatures (that photo who of the blue birds is amazing!) I knew that penguins were monogamous/stayed together for life but I didn’t know it was all birds! I love learning fun facts <3
