I received Retseliney vegetable spiralizer to review recently and this little device has been put to test in my kitchen. I find this as an interesting kitchen tool – a vegetable spiralizer that looks like an hourglass with blades on the inside and feels like a pencil sharpener. All I had to do was place the vegetable into one of the ends and twist the vegetable like sharpening a pencil. There are two sets of built-in blades. On one side the blades are closer together for thiner noodles and the other side for thicker noodles. I think this is a great option to have.
It worked great until I hit the last 1 inch of the vegetable. Wish there was a way to push this last piece inside the blade. The blades are very sharp, and I love the fact that it is inside and I can’t feel them from outside the gadget. It comes with a cleaning brush and a mini recipe book. The cleaning brush is perfect to get inside the nooks and corners of the spiralizer to get it thoroughly cleaned. As an add on, a jar opener is included to help you open jars.
Overall, I’m quite impressed with this tool for its price. This tiny yet powerful gadget can help you prepare low-carb recipes made with vegetable pasta’s and shredded salads. You will be amazed how quickly you can prepare a healthy meal. Well, you could also make hash browns in no time! Here are some pictures for you.
Oh my, that looks so cool! Makes me want to learn how to cook. Yes, unfortunately, I’m still horrible at the kitchen! :(( Anyway, that tool makes it look like it’s so easy to make veggie pasta!
Such an awesome gadget and seems to do the job really well but not sure i need it in my kitchen just yet
I want to get one of these so bad. My cousin told me about it and she says she uses it to make spaghetti out of zucchinni and it’s actually pretty good. I’m dying to try it. Thanks for sharing.
That just makes things super super easy. I kind of wish we have these as well!
This is neat. I really want me one of these. I’m going to check it out. Thanks.
Ahh, my friend and I were just talking about these! Would be fun to make veggie pasta!
This looks like a great way to spice up a meal! I’ve always wanted to try one of these! thanks for sharing!
My spiralizer has been staring at me just BEGGING me to use it on something! Thanks for the ideas, I’ll have to see if I can find something around to use.
I have one of these and absolutely love it!! I make my hubby homemade coleslaw with it 🙂
That looks cool, have never use a spiralizer before. I think it might come in handy with some of my veggies.
I love my spiralizer !! I make zucchini noodles all the time. One of the top kitchen gadgets I ever bought
Ohhhh, I definitely need one of these! I have been wanting to try zucchini noodles! Thanks for showing how it works!
That is awesome. I so need this to make my Squash Spaghetti. Looks like a nifty kitchen gadget!
This is definitely something that I could use–Carrot raisin salad here I come!
There are so many new recipes you could try using this spiralizer. It would open up so many possibilities!
Does it also work for “hard” veggies like carrots or beetroot? Would love to use for beets in a salad.
Tanya! I just added a picture of spiralzing a carrot . It works fine with carrots, but could not get much out a beet. The last 1 inch is hard to get through the blades, and beets are not long enough . Blades are pretty sharp, and you don’t want your fingers in there. Hope this was helpful.
I’ve been thinking about buying one of these…thanks for the review!
